Give Your Bedroom the Deep-Clean It Needs with This Quick Room Cleaning Checklist
We've all been there. You keep delaying tackling the mess your bedroom has become and now you finally have your day off but when the time comes, you just don’t know where to start. The key to cleaning up your room quickly and efficiently lies in knowing which tasks to tackle first and what tools you need in order to get the job done. Let’s guide you through how you can give your bedroom a thorough and quick wipedown in no time.
Tools you need:
1. Wash rags
2. Vaccum
3. Broom
4. Window cleaner.
Declutter to De-stress
Start with removing items that don’t belong in your bedroom. If there are dirty clothes lying about, toss them into hampers. Rehang outfits you may have tried on and left out. In short, Declutter all your surfaces of anything that doesn’t go well with them.
Tackle the Ceiling Fan
An old rag or an old pillowcase will do for the job. Make sure you leave the dirty sheets on your bed as you go to work on the dusty fan blades. Clear out all spiderwebs and dust that may have accumulated on the fan and the lighting fixtures.
Work on the corners
Once you’re done with the ceiling fan, it’s time to start working on the corners. This is where your broom will come in handy to dust away spider webs (if any).
Time to start the laundry
It would be wise to save yourself some time right about now. Strip your bed and hamper of all your dirty laundry and start a load in the washing machine. This way you can work on cleaning your bedroom and have your clothes clean and ready by the time you’re done.
